BOWMANVILLE NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY | WELCOME CLARK – When Ellen told me her and Kevin were expecting again I was so excited to hear the news! I waited a good 7 months or so for baby Clark’s arrival so the anticipation was pretty high. I’m so blessed to be able to work with such amazing families such as this one. I cannot wait to see Clark grow and reach his milestones. I photographed Arwen as a newborn and in mama’s tummy as well! There is no greater compliment like a client who comes back for their next child. Congratulations guys!

DURHAM REGION + GTA NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER | PURE JOY When I first heard that these two were High School Sweethearts and have been together for just about ever, I instantly loved them too. It’s so very clear to see why Natasha and VJ are still together and have enough love for Cameron. Even just the look on their faces during the session, in completely awe of the little human they made and brought into this world. I’m so happy to have met this family, and have been blessed with keeping in touch with them.

I’m so behind on blogging that Cameron was actually just in with his mama for his sitter milestone session. He has grown so much and what a total stud…another blog post on that to follow, but don’t worry I won’t make you wait 6 months for it 😉

NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER DURHAM REGION – I had the pleasure of Photographing this sweet family recently. Baby Adam has a special meaning to his name, who was named after his uncle who passed away last year. Something tells me his uncle Adam is beaming with pride watching over him.

The expressions this little babe gave me were like no other. I kept asking his mom, “Does he always do this?”  I love the images we were able to capture, the newborn stage is so fleeting, make sure you capture it this stage with portraits you will treasure! His mama and I kept in contact via facebook and I can already see how much Adam has changed in this short amount of time.

I had the pleasure of meeting the W family last month when they came to get Nolan’s newborn portraits taken. Sometimes, their isn’t enough natural light outside to light up  my normally bright studio so we have to use studio lights instead and I have to say, I love the outcome.

His mama, Sarah and I had so much in common, and she’s one of those clients who was so fun to be around and we just clicked. Turns out we even have the same birthday! This family was just so sweet and big sister Amelia was a dolly. She loved her baby brother so very much and it showed. I’m so happy to be keeping in touch with them and cannot wait to capture more milestones for this lovely family.

In January we held baby mini sessions in our studio, it was amazing to see some of my little newborn clients again and how much they’ve grown. I also got to meet some new faces int he studio. I have to admit milestone sessions are my favourite. I truly love newborn photography, but there is something special about milestone sessions. Each phase in a little ones life brings such joy as small as a detail it may be. Their first curl, first belly laugh, sitting up (my fave!) and their first steps. Here are just a few images from our mini session. In just 20 minutes each client got at least 15 images to choose from.
