WELCOME GABBY | TORONTO BABY PHOTOGRAPHY

WELCOME GABBY | TORONTO BABY PHOTOGRAPHY – I was really looking forward to this session when Stephanie inquired and booked with me. Our daughter’s were in the same class when hers came bouncing out of the classroom and announced “My mom’s going to have a baby and I’m going to be a big sister!” Sometimes, Kinder’s will say the darnedest things so I  replied with “Oh, that’s exciting! When is your new baby going to arrive?” She smiled and said “In DECEMBER!” I did the math in my head and realized I may not have been supposed to know that info… however that was not the case at all. They have been so excited for baby Gabby since day 1.

I’ve had quite a few clients message me as soon as they find out. I have to admit it feels so nice to be privy to such important and special news. Because of this, Stephanie’s pregnancy seemed to last forever for me.

To be closer to family, they sadly had to move and change schools. BUT, I’ve been following along via social media and couldn’t wait for her news to be announced. And of course I was so appreciative they made the drive down to the studio and had me do Gabby’s newborn images.

Below are just some of the portraits I was able to capture of this stunning duo. Beautiful aren’t they? Everyone is blessed.

WELCOME JULIAN | DURHAM REGION GTA NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

DURHAM REGION GTA NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER – When Anna contacted me to say her and her husband Thomas were expecting baby #3 and wanted me to do their new baby’s portraiture, I was so thrilled.  I was honoured . It was so nice to see and work with them again. Our newborn session was in my old studio in my home, so it was nice to have the kids play area in my new space for the older siblings to play and keep occupied.  Side note – Did you know I keep snacks and drinks for the little ones on hand in case little get Hangry?

Niko and Lola played so nicely and were so patient during their lil bro’s newborn session. They loved that rocking horse too. Julian gave us so many expressions and was pretty adamant he stay awake and not miss a thing. I didn’t mind, he was such a chill baby and just let me do my thing. He even fell asleep for a little bit so mom could get her bum up shot she wanted. Here are some images from their session. I hope to see this sweet family again soon.

Baby Photography GTA | Adam’s half birthday

Baby Photography GTA | Adam’s half birthday. When Adam’s mama contacted me to do a sitter milestone for her sweet babe Adam, I was over the moon. I hadn’t seen him since his newborn milestone, and from all the photos she was posting on facebook, I just knew he would be a great little subject. We spoke about wardrobe and what she should bring for their session and of course, I always tell me my clients not to stress about clothing, our studio has everything we’ll need. It’s important to avoid bright distracting colours or harsh patterns and big logos.  By steering clear of these key factors, it helps ensure that your images aren’t “too busy” thus taking away the focus on the baby. I always provide my clients with what to wear guides, and, of course, my baby wardrobe is free to use during sessions.

Adam’s grandparents joined his session and I couldn’t have been more pleased with how everything turned out. It’s so nice to see grandparents get into the photos with their grand children and make memories that can be past down for generations to come. I need to do this with my own kids. Everyone should if it’s an option to them.
