CAKE SMASH PORTRAIT SESSION DURHAM REGION | jacob – Jacob was in to see me to celebrate him turning the big O-N-E! You may remember this sweet face from being all over my website and not to mention a ton of my promo material. We had just the best session with him in my old studio when he was a newborn. This session was nothing short of that either. To check out his newborn session, click here. This Cake Smash and Portrait session was so successful! It may be a record of how many images were in his gallery. He was so happy and surely the Cake put a smile on his face. The cake was scrumptious, made by my amazing cake vendor, Nicole from LAYERS CAKES AND CONFECTIONS. How could he resist?!

TORONTO CAKE SMASH | 1st Year Milestone – EMILY

TORONTO CAKE SMASH | 1st Year Milestone – EMILY – I was so happy to see this beautiful family back in the studio again. The last time I saw them we were in my home studio and their images remain a favourite to date.  If they look familiar to you, it’s because they are on many of the samples in the studio. All of my 2017 products can be found on display throughout the studio.  I have been using a new vendor for my high quality linen albums, mounted prints and matted displays. Clients now have the option to view their gallery online or in the studio with the product samples at their fingertips.

Throughout our Cake Smash session Emily gave me the sweetest smiles and silly grins. She has quite the personality and really went to down on that delicious icing that covered her smash cake. I have to brag a bit about my cake vendor. Nicole, from Layers  Cakes and Confections, is a Cake Artist in the Durham Region Area. She specializes in cakes for all events and her cakes are so fresh and tasteful. Please show her Facebook page some love by clicking here. We hire Nicole every time we need a cake, I love that her cakes are baked from scratch.

TORONTO DURHAM REGION FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER | SIBLINGS

TORONTO DURHAM REGION FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER | SIBLINGS – This was my 3rd session with sweet Izzy and 2nd with baby L.

I wholeheartedly adore this family and have to admit, when mom booked for L’s sit up milestone I was so excited. These kids are absolutely gorgeous and so so so easy to photograph. It’s not like work at all to be honest. Our session took place in my commercial studio loft. Outfits (except that sweet mint outfit Liam has on – which I need to get!) were provided by our Studio Wardrobe (which mom loved), there is a great selection with pieces being added each week for the returning clients who have already wore items from their previous sessions.

During our session Miss Izzy posed for me like a runway model, she is such a ham in  front and off camera, I can’t wait to see what she does with this incredible personality of hers. Liam was content just being a happy go lucky 6 month old baby. He loved the organic blocks and wooden toys, and of course watching his sister. You can tell these two share the sibling bond and will grow up being best friends. I can’t wait until our next session together.

NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY WITHIN DURHAM REGION | BABY E – It’s always such a compliment when Clients keep returning. I have been photographing this sweet family fr almost 5 years and I have grown to love them. This is their THIRD gorgeous little lady, and I can’t help but see big sis every time I look at Emilia. Of course both girls have their own unique features, but since I have seen the two eldest daughters so often, their 3rd beauty is following in their footsteps.  It was totally my pleasure to create these images of baby Emilia. We have such a history together. Easter minis, Christmas Mini’s, Gender Reveal, Maternity portraits, Newborn sessions, Little Whimsical Minis, the list goes on.

I feel so humble this family and I have grown so close and secretly wish they would just keep having more babies. Not sure how Mom and Dad would feel about that?! Congratulations again J family, I wish you continued happiness and joy. Much Love.

WELCOME WALTER | NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER DURHAM REGION

WELCOME WALTER | NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER DURHAM REGION – It was so nice to work with and meet these sweet new parents and their little Walter. Walter was just so good to me during his session. His bright eyes and darling little grins. He was so alert and gave me amazing eye contact, which is sometimes hard to get from a newbie.  Mom and Dad were just in awe of their little man, and they looked at him with so much love. I always love when parents come to the studio and are open to go with the flow of the baby. I can see where Walter gets his easy going personality from. I look forward to working with this beautiful family again in months to come.
