WELCOME CAIDEN – DURHAM REGION NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY

Caiden’s mom picked up her USB today with her chosen digital images, so I wanted to post a few photos from his session. I was super anxious to have this little dude into the studio when she posted a photo on Facebook of him. My first thought’s were: “Oh that hair! those cheeks! let me at ’em”

I’ve said it so many times before, repeats clients confirm that I’m in the right profession. That I’m doing the job I’m meant for, and supposed to be doing. A Durham Region and Toronto Newborn Photographer.

Caiden looks so much like his older brother Christopher that I photographed about 5 years ago. I am looking forward to their next family session, when I can document Caiden a bit older and see the interaction between Christopher and him, and his older brother Cameron. I didn’t photograph Cameron though (he’s 16). It just dawned on me that they are all “C” names. I secretly love that. When I hear a family with the kids all starting with the same letter. I don’t know why? It just sounds good. Like when you tell people what your kids names are. Sounds more like a melody.

Not meaning bring up the infamous tv family, but I think after 19 kids, you would be come a bit desperate to find a name that you still loved, beginning with the same letter. My mom comes from a family of all D’s, 5 kids, 2 parents (so 7 in total), and they all begin with D’s. Of course the eldest son is named after the dad and the youngest daughter named after the mom. See? it gets hard after a few kids to keep up with the whole same initial thing! Full disclosure: we all begin with S’s in our home (the 4 of us), except our dog, who was named after my late poppy (who’s birthday was yesterday). I often wonder If I should have made Howie his middle name, and called him Scout 😉
